A release from the St. Kitts National Youth Parliament Association said it will be having an appreciation tea in honour of the men and women serving our country as firefighters and policemen and women.
It will take place on Sunday October 9th in the Holy Trinity Anglican church hall at 4p.m. The tea will be a time of celebration for the hard work that these brave men and women in the fire and police departments respectively undertake every day and serve as a reminder to us on the sacrifices that are made by them daily.
Various performances will be rendered throughout the afternoon, there will be refreshments served and admission to the tea is free. We invite you the media to be a part of this event, said the release.
