Police asking for information on latest murder

Basseterre, Monday, 28th November, 2022, (MyVue News.com)-The police are still gathering their evidence and trying to establish the circumstances that led to the death of a 35-year-old man, over the weekend.

They are appealing to members of the public, who may know something, to contact them with any information possible.

No one has so far been arrested for the killing, but the evidence is still being analyzed.

The death of Alvin Romney was established on Friday, 25th November 2022, when a motorist travelling through Dieppe bay, via the island’s main road, discovered what police described as the motionless body of the victim in the street.

Upon investigation, after being called to the scene around 9:00 p.m. police stated that Romney had multiple gunshot wounds on his body.

Persons with information regarding this matter are urged to contact the Violent Crimes Unit by dialing 467-1887, 467-1888, 662-3468, their nearest Police Station, or the Crime Hotline at 707 where information can be given anonymously.
