Basseterre, St. Kitts, 20th July 18, 2018 (MyVueNews.com) – Police have now arrested one man, in connection with yesterday’s robbery in Nevis at a branch of the Caribbean Lottery.
It does not matter the time of day anymore. There is no effort to conceal their evil deeds anymore either.
And this was exactly the case on Thursday, 19th July, 2018, when the offices of the Caribbean Lottery, in Nevis, was robbed by two gun men.
Both men, according to police, were wearing masks.
The authorities also disclosed that one of the men pointed, what appeared to be a gun, at the clerk, demanding that monies be handed over.
Police have not shared much in details, but the first wave of sketchy facts indicate that the incident took place sometime at approximately 1:40 pm.
Neither the police nor the Lotto Company have revealed how much the robbers were able to nab in their haul. But they indicated that personal items of the staff were also stolen.
Some of these items, say the police, were recovered after a search in the nearby area.
A warrant was also executed by police but they say that no items of relevance were secured.
No reports of injury, at the time of this report, had been stated, but police assured that they are continuing their investigations.
They are calling on any member of the public with information, to contact any of the police stations to assist with the investigations.
