Tonya Percival of John Street, New Town, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
Two juveniles, of Cunningham Village, were arrested, charged and cautioned for the following offences, 1. Possession of Cannabis 2. Possession with intent to supply, and 3. Cultivation.
Ishan Carrick Gumbs of Church Ghaut, St Paul’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the following offences (1) Possession of Cannabis, (2) Possession with intent to supply.
Adrian Rawlins of Parson Ground was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of larceny committed on July 27th, 2016.
Meanwhile, Police are investigating a breaking and larceny on Upper Shaw Ave. Investigations reveal that the V/C secured the house around 11.14am on the August 11. Upon return on August 12, it was discovered that the house was broken into. The kitchen, bedrooms and living room were ransacked. The Crime Scene Unit processed the scene and further inquiries being conducted.
Police are also investigating a breaking and larceny at about 18:13 pm on 13th August. A supervisor for Security and Maintenance at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church reported a breaking at the School (ICCS). Investigation revealed that Security secured the building on 12th August, at about 17:00hrs, and upon his return on 13th August, at about 17:00 hrs, he discovered that someone had broken into four class rooms, and, having entered, ransacked some desks and cupboards. Crime Scene Personnel visited the scene. Inquiries will continue
Also on the weekend, Police executed several search warrants. The first was on premises in New Road, and St. Peter’s, Monkey Hill, for controlled drugs, arms, ammunition, stolen goods and documents that may have been used in a crime. A number of items were taken into custody for evidence purposes.
In another and separate search, the SSU reported that a search warrant was executed on premises in New Road. Two persons were arrested on suspicion of House Breaking and Larceny. A number of items were also taken into police custody for investigation.
