Inspector Andre Mitchell, Divisional Commander for the areas west and north of Basseterre, chaired the town hall meeting. Residents expressed concern about an increase in burglaries, a recent neighborhood shooting, and the increased presence of known criminals from outside the community loitering within the community.

The joint operation which was conducted in the early morning hours did not recover any firearms though other items of interest were recovered.

Inspector Mitchell noted that other such joint operations will be ongoing over the next 60 days in the areas under his immediate command.
