Police to Benefit from Coalition Group

The group was recently formed to promote unity through one voice, representing several organizations on the island. It includes Christophe Harbour, Cockleshell Bay Development, Four Seasons Nevis, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, St. Kitts Marriott Resort/Royal Beach Casino and Windsor University.

On Monday they will make a donation of 50 bullet proof vests, six laptop computers, hotel accommodations and airfare for police trainers and other items to the institute.

Their aim is to assist the police and other security forces in their efforts to make a positive change in crime fighting measures.

The handing over ceremony will take place on Monday at the Police Training Complex at 10:00am

A larger group of seven public/private entities has continued plans to provide additional support to anti-crime initiatives and further develop the collaboration among the government, the police force and the coalition.
