According to a release from the German Embassy that is based in Trinidad & Tobago, courses of study are available in Economic Sciences, Business Administration and Political Economics.
The post graduate studies are for professionals with relevance to developing countries such as St. Kitts & Nevis. Specific areas of studies include, Development Co-operation, Engineering and Related Sciences, Mathematics, Regional Planning, Agriculture and Forest Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Medicine and Public Health, Veterinary Medicine, Social Sciences, Education and Law and Media Studies.
Officials at the German embassy have also indicated that one other area of study, as part of the post graduate scholarship program being offered to Kittitians and Nevisians, is that of Public Policy & Good Governance, (PPGG).
This Master’s program will further academically qualify future leaders of St. Kitts & Nevis in politics, law, economics and administration, according to good governance principles, and prepare them for their future professional duties with practice-oriented activities, said an embassy statement.
Interested candidates may submit their applications to arrive by 31st July 2011, to the German Embassy, at 7-9 Marli Street, Newtown, P.O. Box 828, Port of Spain, Trinidad.
