A company spokesman has indicated that the disruptions are due to maintenance work to be undertaken.
On Monday, 13th August from 8:00am to 4:00pm the area stretching from Taylors Range to Bayford’s would be affected, while on Tuesday, 14th Keys Housing Project and Buckley’s Park will be without electricity.
On Wednesday, 15th August consumers in Conaree Beach and Buckley’s Park will be without electricity, while Half Moon Bay Terrace and Mansion Village will be affected Thursday 16th and Friday 17th respectively.
While indicating that these outages are necessary SKELEC has also issued an apology for the late announcement.
