Prices for Carnival Shows announced

Basseterre, Thursday, 25th November 2021, (MyVue News.com)-The new prices for the upcoming carnival shows and competitions were announced here on Wednesday, during a press conference hosted by the St. Kitts & Nevis Carnival Committee.

Chair of the Finance, Gates and Accreditation Committee, Clytie Gilbert, revealed that there will be two categories of prices for both the Queen Pageant and the Swimsuit Competition.

For this year’s Sugar Mas, the fans attending the Queen Pageant on Wednesday, 29th December, will have the opportunity to select from the options of Preferred Seating for $100 or General Seating for $80.00.

Those attending the National Swimsuit Contest, (22nd December),  will be able to purchase their Preferred Seating Tickets for $80 and General Seating for $60.

Gilbert also disclosed that the Bubble J’ouvert, scheduled for Monday 27th December and the Soca Monarch Finals, on Thursday, 23rd December, will attract a price of forty dollars, ($40).

The Senior Calypso Monarch Finals on Thursday, 30th December, comes at sixty dollars, ($60).

However, the Carnival Icons show will have an entrance fee of $30, while this weekend’s National Carnival Queen Pageant Runway Competition, at Carnival Village will see a gate price of $25, while this Saturday’s final Calypso Tent, also at Carnival Village, has a $20 gate fee.

This is the 50th Anniversary of the St. Kitts & Nevis National Carnival, now dubbed, Sugar Mas.
