During the course of this week, the male and female contestants were observed in final rehearsal sessions, trying their best to get it right for the three main segments, in which they will appear.
Though not much “noise” is being made about the contest and though the pageant has not received the required promotional attention from the media and even the Carnival Committee, the public will be nicely surprised by the high quality presentations and production efficiencies that will be associated with the event.
The producers assigned to work with the children are some of the most experienced and capable event managers and organizers that have built an impressive reputation, having organized most of the successful shows that have been hosted locally.
It is therefore comforting to note that these children are in a good position to deliver an outstanding overall performance.
They will appear in Promotional Speech, Talent and a Youthful Formal Wear.
Participating primary schools are Bronte Welsh, Dr. William Connor, Dieppe Bay, St. Paul’s, Dean Glasford, Irish Town, Estridge, Cayon, Tyrell Williams and Saddlers.
The line-up of guest artistes will include the CFBC Dance Ensemble, H2O and an appearance by the Talented Teens for 2011.
The show is scheduled to have a prompt 6:00pm start and tickets have been made available from Plush and the Ticket Booth at Carnival Village.
The show was originally scheduled for Sunday 11th December, 2011 but heavy rains throughout the day caused a postponement.
