The 28-year-old royal has already pledged his support for disabled veterans via an appearance in London today at the kickoff for the Walking With the Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge, an upcoming trek that seeks to raise funds for military charities.
Now Harry is upping the ante: Not only is Prince William‘s brother a patron of the cause, but he will also be participating in the 208-mile trek to the South Pole this November.
The month long race will feature three teams of wounded military personnel from the U.K., U.S. and a combo Australia-Canadian contingent competing against each other.
“As a member of the British team, I will have a brew ready for you when you join us at the Pole,” he cracked at the launch event.
Harry is expected to start prepping for the arduous trek this summer.
Talk about a rugged royal!
