This follows the radio version of the annual contest that was held on Friday, 16th December, on Fort Street, in front of a live audience.
Monday night’s interview on will be carried live on ZIZ, starting at 8:30pm.
They will be judged along the same criteria, that will be used for the on stage interview on the night of the pageant, Tuesday 27th December.
A spokesman from VhCommunications & Marketing Agency, organizers of the interview series, has indicated that each contestant will be asked approximately five questions that will be drawn from details contained in their autobiography and from issues and matters that are currently in the news, locally or overseas.
The judges will be focusing their attention on Content, which carries 15 points, Command of Language, also 15 points and Naturalness, 10 points.
The judges will be Miss Claudette Polly Manchester, Mr. Denzil Crooke and Miss. Ozelle Martin. Former National Carnival Queen Contestant, Lanine Blanchette will serve as the chief judge, responsible for the tabulation of scores.
The delegates will be interviewed by Miss Jihan Williams.
The public too will have an opportunity to make its own judgment and can participate by voting for the contestant, believed to have given the best interview. They may vote online at MiyVue.com in the Poll Section, or they may vote via text, by using the first three letters of the name of each contestant and texting to 9696, as stated below.
The contestants are Markyssa O’Loughlin, Jody Carter, Kalia Huggins, Keeva Weekes, Verlyn Williams and “Barbie” or Trevicia Adams.
