On Friday 28th November, at the much anticipated launch, fans and potential revellers had the opportunity to see just what this year’s ‘POWDER DEVILS’ was all about. It was a splendour of colour with just the right amount of Red Devils Flavour!
This year, the Red Devils J’ouvert Troupe will start from 3am at the Rams Supermarket parking lot in Bird Rock and make their way through the streets of Basseterre. Revellers can enjoy the TOTAL package as it includes unlimited premium drinks, the Red Devils T-Shirt, bag, horns or led baton, water bottle, whistles, rags, shorts for females and a personal powder pack for the outburst of colour! DJs include DJ Sugar Bowl, Tombstone International, TNO Sounds, Dj Sika and DJ Choice One.
Interested persons can register for this year’s Powder Devils at Laws Bookstore located on Cayon Street, Basseterre. From Saturday 20th to the 24th of December packages will be available under the Carib Tent on Fort Street.
To celebrate their 5th year Anniversary, the Red Devils Management has included a “Beer Run” to their activities leading up J’Ouvert morning. This all day event is scheduled to take place on Sunday 21st December, 2014 at the Frigate Bay lawn from 11am. The day will feature domino, eating and beer drinking competitions along with a very interesting obstacle race and treasure hunt. In addition, music will be provided by local DJs, artistes and bands for this spectacular Fun Day!
