According to an official statement from the security body, The RSS Training Institute is a project that will come on stream shortly. It is designed to standardise and accredit all training for Law Enforcement Officials through a number of standing committees in the RSS Member states.

The Practice Committee is one such committee, and is mandated to, among other things, set policies in relation to:

– Recruitment

– Qualification of Instructors, etc.

The delegates, who are here from the other member territories, such as Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, St. Lucia, Dominica and St. Vincent & the Grenadines, will meet with their local counterparts at the Bird Rock Beach Hotel Conference Room, from 1st – 5th October 2012.

An opening ceremony is scheduled to commence at 8:30am on Monday 1st October 2012.
