Rotary Club of St Kitts Opens Store

The store is a new project that has been launched by the Rotary Club of St Kitts and commenced operations on Thursday 16th August, 2012. 

It is known as the Good Deeds Second-Hand Store and is located in the building next to Island Hopper, at the C.A. Paul Southwell Industrial Park, Basseterre. 

According to officials of the club, items have been donated by members of the organization as well as other individuals in the community.  The store will be opened on Friday 17 August, Saturday 18 and 20 – 24 August from 12pm to 5pm, and every Saturday until items are sold out, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. 

Items include men, women’s and children’s clothing, shoes, books, kitchen appliances, costume jewellery, bags, dvds and toys priced from $1­$30. 

Proceeds from the sales will be in aid of The Advancement of Children Foundation.                               

The Advancement of Children Foundation aims to positively affect the life of the children and youth in our community, by creating an environment that is conducive to learning, growth and contribution, complete with community and family support, and free of violent and negative coercive forces.
