The Club is organizing the event as part of its support and commitment to improving the lot of the less fortunate in the Federation, through its youth and community development projects, and also to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Club’s Charter with Rotary International.

The Event is scheduled for Wednesday, 13 March and will be held at the St George’s Anglican Church Hall (Old Girls School) starting at 7.00pm.

The theme for the Forum will be “Peace Begins With Me”.  The goal of the Forum is “To help reduce conflict by first identifying the nature and sources of conflict and then by discussing and proposing conflict-resolution options”.

Over the past ten (10) years, the Rotary Club of Liamuiga (RCL) has conducted and sponsored numerous programmes for the Nation’s youth as well as giving assistance to the less fortunate in the society.  These include, but are not limited to, the Computer Assisted Literacy Solutions (CALS) Training Programme for Primary and High School Students, Heroes Day Luncheon for the Elderly and the distribution of care packages for the elderly in various parts of the country at Christmas time.
