According to Frederick, “My participation and interaction with my Regional peers has allowed me to find my place in society. It has also taught me many valuable life lessons and encouraged me to reach out to the others, as I strive to a better leader and responsible citizen.”
He further added that his involvement gave him a better understanding of some of the issues affecting young people including financial management, character development, the community and its influence, conflict resolution, leadership, and Health (HIV/AIDS), as well as, the chance to present simple and practical solutions to help them.
Apart from the training sessions, the young Kittitian also took part in a tree planting and building repainting exercise at the Dorothy Hopkin Centre, a Health Care facility for the Disabled, to officially bring the curtains down on the three-day event, organised by the Rotary Clubs of Grenada.
In 2010, the Rotary Club of St. Kitts jointly hosted the three (3) day Annual Youth Forum at the Robert Ross International University of Nursing.
