This competition was organised to assist in the promotion of the newly established academy and also to sensitize the regional public of its mandate that was developed at a meeting with members of the Task Force.

The meeting in Suriname in July, discussed major considerations and key parameters to advance the establishment of the academy, which included regional integration; sport studies and development; talent identification and development; sport tourism and research.

The federation of St Kiss and Nevis was represented by the Director of Sport, Mr. Dave Connor.

Persons with artistic capabilities are most welcomed to participate.
