Sinead O’Connor collaborates with Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor

The single, a feminist dance-club reggae anthem, will be released shortly and is to be included on McGregor’s Club Dance riddim album this fall.

Reminiscent of her 2005 smash album Throw Down Your Arms, O’Connor’s new release will continue her long-time penchant for reggae music, as she will collaborate with McGregor to produce a few tracks for a full-length album to be released in February, McGregor said.

Sinead O’Connor, has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, and won the Best Alternative Music Performance category at the 1991 Grammy Awards for the album I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got.

O’Connor’s last album, Theology, ranked within the top 20 albums charts in the United States, Ireland and the United Kingdom, and was listed on the top 100 charts in France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Canada.
