Already residents on Nevis have been lining up their support behind their favourite contestant, while those from St. Kitts have also shown some support for the lone Kittitian in the pageant.
This year, the six contestants will be vying under theme chosen for the pageant, “Cherishing the Past! Embracing the Present! Planning for the Future!” They will all compete in five different appearances, namely, Interview, Talent, Evening Wear, Swim Wear and a segment known as Nevisian Pride, during which they are required to highlight various Nevisian landmarks. A Fanfare is also included as an introductory appearance.
Those vying to be called the next Miss Culture are Grace Percival (from St. Kitts), Faith Daniel, Mikahlia Lawrence, Ronice Williams, Techyna David and Denesia Smithen.
The reigning queen is Miss Santannyo Mills, who last year was sponsored by the Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis and won with a total of 876 points.
