The association held its second meet on Sunday 23rd January at the Silver Jubilee Stadium and according to reports; it was a surprising turn out by athletes.

According to the association’s PRO, members of the SKNAAA were astonished with the response from the federation’s athletes for the athletic meet.

The first meet for the SKNAAA athletic calendar took place on 16th January and attracted over 100 athletes and over 200 at the second meet.

The SKNAAA development meets are geared at preparing the athletes for more intense competition on not only the local scene but also regionally and internationally.

The times recorded during each meet will be used as qualifying times for some of the athletes for the regional and international events.
