The donation took the form of paint and accessories, contributed by TDC and its regional partner, Harris Paints (Dominica) Limited.
Mrs. Jonelle Rawlins-Drew, TDC Client Relations and Marketing Manager, recently handed over thirty (30) gallons of paints, rollers, and brushes to Captain Kayode Sutton, in a brief presentation ceremony, held at the TDC Home and Building Depot on the Frigate Bay Road.
In handing over the materials, Mrs. Drew spoke of the importance of upgrading the working environment and the companies’ commitment to assist with the ongoing law enforcement efforts.
“TDC and Harris Paints (Dominica) Limited are pleased to donate thirty (30) gallons of paints and supplies towards the ongoing renovation of several units, presently being used by the rank and file of the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force. We believe very strongly in this Organization, and the role it plays in helping to keep our businesses and Communities safe and secure. We are certain that these materials will go a long way in helping to create an atmosphere that will enhance the existing efforts of the respective officers and soldiers, as you carry out your duties on a day-to-day basis,” stated Mrs. Drew.
In accepting the corporate gesture, Captain Sutton thanked the business houses for the support, as it seeks to advance its crime fighting agenda.
“On behalf of the Commander, I express our sincere gratitude to TDC and Harris Paints (Dominica) Limited for this meaningful donation, which will be used to beautify our offices at Camp Springfield. With our vibrant work stations, we will be in a better position to focus on the task at hand.
