SKNFA Weekend Matches Produced Five Red Cards in 3 Games

It all stated on Saturday 11th December when Coury’s Gatorade Conaree defeated the St. Thomas/Trinity Strikers 5-1. Scorers for Coury’s Gatorade Conaree were, Imron Ponteen who struck twice in the 28th & 40th minutes, Errol O’loughlin (penalty) in the 64th minute Byon Morson in the 66th minute and Austin Lewis in the 80th minute.

Azeem James, in the 44th minute, scored the lone goal for St. Thomas/Trinity Strikers. Jervin Davis missed a penalty for Strikers in the 84th minute.

Clifford Samuel, in the 63rd minute, and Damian Hanley, in the 83rd minute, both playing for Strikers, received red cards.

The match officials were James Matthew, Steadroy Techeira, Sherlene Browne & Anthony Rawlins.

In the second game, TDC Newton United defeated Mantab 2 goals to 1.

Orlando Mitcham- in the 31st minute – and Alexis Saddler in the 65th minute, secured the victory for the defending champions, Newtown United.

The only goal for Mantab was scored by Eldean Huggins in the 55th minute.

Red card culprits were, Earl Jones of Newtown in the 32nd minute and Darien Huggins for Mantab in the 90th minute.

Officials were Franklyn Dorsettt, Steadroy Techeira, Graeme Browne & James Matthew.

Then on Sunday 12th December, more goals and more red cards as Rams Village Superstars merely defeated St. Peters 2-1.

At half time both teams were locked 1–1 but a 87th minute goal from Kishawn “Fire’ Liburd sealed the win for Rams Village Superstars.

In this game however only one red card was issued and Alister “Poodle” Warner for Village Superstars was on the receiving end in the 64th minute.
