But singer Melanie Brown hinted at another possible gig for the ’90s “Girl Power” group during a recent interview on Australian TV, according to The Sun.
“I think the Queen’s Jubilee concert is the event I’d be looking at more closely for that to happen,” said Brown, who was known as “Scary Spice” and “Mel B” back in the day.
Ooops — Brown may have let the cat out of the bag.
The Sun reports that Brown later told crew members: “I am going to be in such strife for saying that. It’s all so totally bloody top-secret still.”
The Spice Girls — Victoria Beckham (“Posh”), Geri Halliwell (“Ginger”), Emma Bunton (“Baby”), and Melanie Chisholm (“Sporty”) — got back together again in 2007 for a reunion tour.
The Diamond Jubilee, which celebrates 60 years of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign, will be held June 4. The 2012 Olympics begin July 27.
