This assurance has been provided by the General Manager of Cable & Wireless/LIME, St. Kitts and Nevis, David Lake, who recently met with the 2013/2014 Carnival Queen, Kaeve Armstrong.
Speaking during a courtesy call paid by Armstrong on the LIME management, Lake stated that his company will support Miss Armstrong throughout her reign and looks forward to partnering with her as she endeavours to assist others to make their dreams come true.
The telecommunications company was also the sponsor of Armstrong for the pageant, and in recognition of her success, David added that they are indeed proud of the achievement of Miss LIME, for walking away with the Carnival Queen title. “Through her talent, elegance and hard-work, Kaeve has realized her dream of becoming Miss. St. Kitts and we at LIME are proud to have been able to play a small part in her accomplishment,” stated the LIME executive.
During her visit, the Carnival Queen took the opportunity to interact with members of staff and customers who were doing business at the company’s main retail store in Basseterre. She also did a quick photo-shoot with Lake and customers.
Using the reigning queen as an example, the LIME manager also expressed a hope that others in the community would work towards attaining his or her dreams, big or small, no matter the obstacles.
Armstrong was crowned Carnival Queen on 27th December, 2013, at the Sugar Mas Carnival Village, in Warner Park. She dominated the pageant by winning most of the judged categories.
