The athletes selected for the Games are Kim Collins who is expected to participate in the 100m and 4x100m; Jason Rogers in the 100m and 4x100m; Antoine Adams in the 200m and 4x100m; Brijesh Lawrence in the 200m and 4x100m; Delwayne Delaney in the 4x100m; and Tameka Williams in the Female 100m and 200m events.
The St Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee’s National Representative Team will only participate in the sport of Track and Field (Athletics) at this version of the Games. The track and field (Athletics) segment will run from the 23th to the 29th October.
At the highly anticipated Games Opening Ceremony on Friday 14th October, Mr. Antoine Adams will assume the prestigious position of Flag Bearer for the St Kitts and Nevis’ delegation. The Flag Bearer at any Games symbolizes the hopes and aspirations of one’s fellow countrymen.
Additionally, President of the National Olympic Committee and Executive Member of the Pan American Executive Board, Mr. Alphonso Bridgewater, his Vice President, Mr. Dennis Knight and his Secretary General, Mr. Glenville Jeffers have also received invitations from the President of the Pan American Sports Organisation to be in attendance at the Games.
