The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service said it is following the progress of Tropical Depression Seven, which at 11:00am on Friday, was located near 13.7N 49.5W, position accurate within 30 nm.
The present movement is toward the west or 270 degrees at 23 mph. with max sustained winds 35 mph with higher gusts. The estimated minimum central pressure was 1009 mb.
The system is forecast to become a storm sometime today Friday and forecast paths tend towards the southern Caribbean. However, due to the inherent uncertainties of these systems, residents in St. Kitts and Nevis should closely monitor the behaviour and movement of this system.
