According pageant officials, 11 territories have confirmed that they will in fact be sending delegates.

This will be the third year of the contest, which last year saw Fatisha Imo representing the Federation, in the contest that in 2012 will offer a cash prize of US$10,000, which makes it the biggest paying regional queen show.

In addition to the delegate from St. Kitts and Nevis being confirmed, other Caribbean and Latin American states that gave given assurances that contestants will be sent, include Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, Antigua & Barbuda, Suriname, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Guyana and others.
