It is understood that the killing of a young man took place just after 8:00am Sunday morning, 3rd March, 2013, in the western village of Half Way Tree, not too far from the town of Sandy Point.
The victim is said to be 24 year old Darren DuPorte of Half Way Tree and he was shot and killed by a single gun shot according to Police reports.
