St. Kitts & Nevis came under early pressure by the Dominicans when they lost their goal keeper Quinora Estridge in the 11th minute through a red card, and the team members never found their feet in the game again and struggled throughout the match with ten players.
With a barrage of attacks the Dominicans looked set to trounce St. Kitts once again but with a stroke of luck and some stellar defending from the home team, frustrated the Dominicans. Just before half time the Dominicans broke the dead lock when a strike from Shelsian Seraphine in the 45th minute gave the Dominicans a boost heading into the break.
In the second half it was pretty much more of the same with Dominica threatening and the home team defending their national pride. Similarly in the second half, the Dominicans doubled their advantage in the 89th minute by Romelcia Phillip.
The next assignment for the St. Kitts & Nevis U-17 team is a match up against Trinidad & Tobago on Sunday 1st October 6:00pm at Warner Park.
