The St. Kitts and Nevis Senior National Football team has been inactive since exiting the world cup qualifications, after a lost to Canada at BMO field in Canada. However, the Sugar Boys were still able two climb two places on the Rankings to 114th, from 116th.
A major goal announced by the St. Kitts and Nevis Football association is to achieve a ranking of below of 100, in order to give an opportunity for young footballers to get a chance to secure their financial futures, by obtaining professional contracts from teams in Europe’s top leagues.
Also the publication saw St. Kitts maintaining their position of 9th in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) ranking, which is led by Jamaica in number one followed by Trinidad & Tobago. There has been no change in the top ten.
The next major assignment for the St. Kitts and Nevis Senior National Football is the Digicel Caribbean Cup which is scheduled to take place later this year.
