St. Kitts next stop for CONCACAF grassroots programme

The course in St. Kitts is due to commence on Thursday 27th February, and will incorporate a module from CONCACAF’s Embrace Diversity campaign, which focuses on inclusiveness and dealing with issues discrimination issues.

The programme will be administered by Kittitian and former professional footballer Ces Podd, who played in England with Bradford City.

He too has added his own accounts and experiences of facing up to racial discrimination in English football in the 1970s and 80s.

While here, he will be working with a number of coach-educators in classroom and field environments, introducing them to best-practices in developing the sport at a grassroots level for kids.
