The competition was held in the British Virgin Islands and had the participation of 13 contestants from throughout the region.
An emotional Sudeakka broke down in tears, when the announcement was made, declaring her the judges favourite in this prestigious competition.
Other contestants hailed from the US Virgin Islands, (Terussa Thomas), Anguilla, (Shellya Rogers), Trinidad & Tobago, (Sherrice Roberts), Nicaragua, (Iris Oreadana), St. Lucia, (Iva Satney),Bahamas, (Lakindis Brown), Jamaica, (Raecine Williams), Antigua, (Shenique Barry), Cuba, (Beathis Martinez-Tapia), Dominican Republic, (Luz Esther Jeremy Misses), Dominica, (Jacintha Fagan) and host country British Virgin Islands, represented by Sheroma Hodge.
The First Runner slot was won by Miss Anguilla who also picked up the Miss Intellect title. Second Runner Up was Dominica, who won the Miss photogenic and Best Evening Wear Appearance.
Miss UVI was able to secure the Third Runner position, while there was a tie for Fourth Place between Jamaica and Trinidad. Best Costume went to Miss Trinidad, Best Swimwear to Miss St. Lucia and another tie was experienced between Miss Antigua and Miss USVI, for Miss Congeniality.
The new queen, Miss St. Kitts, Sudeakka Francis also won the Best Talent segment.
Since winning the Miss St. Kitts & Nevis National carnival Queen title in 2009, Sudeakka has also demonstrated her skills and abilities and strength as a regional queen contestant by placing First Runner in the Miss Caraval pageant in St. Vincent and Second Runner in the Miss Jaycees, held in Antigua. Both shows were held in the summer of 2010.
