Javeim Blanchette produced the winning goal during the extra time to beat the defending champions Rams Village Superstars 2-1.

A repeat of last year’s final, St. Pauls dominated for the entire match, but failed to capitalize on their opportunities and it took them until second half of extra time to take the lead.

The game did not proceed without its problems though, as it saw an altercation involving players from both teams which led to a player from each side being sent off. These were George “Yellowman” Isaac of St. Pauls and Joel Jeffers of Village Superstars.

Alex Riley, coach of the Village team, was also expelled from the bench.

Other Goal Scorers in the game were Josh Leader of St. Pauls who opened the scoring and Travis ‘Rug Rat’ Somersall who equalized the game.

Earlier, Conaree Football Club defeated Garden Hotspurs Spurs 4-1 to take 3rd place.
