“Star” Browne’s Contribution Immeasurable Says SKNFA

The SKNFA described Star Browne’s contribution to St Kitts Nevis football as immeasurable.

Elvis ‘Star” Browne was a member of the Village Superstars, St Kitts-Nevis National team, and the head coach of the National Team, from 2002-2004.

He was also the coach of the Women National team.

The association credits Mr. Browne for the outstanding work he did in nurturing young talent, some of whom are today major figures on the local and international football scene.

SKNFA said Elvis started the summer youth academy which was later renamed in his honour “the LIME/Elvis “Star” Browne Football School of Excellence”, which has propelled many of our great footballers such as Keith “Kayamba” Gumbs, Atiba Harris & Jevon Francis.

The controlling body for the sport in St. Kitts and Nevis said Star Browne will be dearly missed by his family, friends and the football community at home and abroad.

“Thank You Star for your invaluable contribution to the youth and Football in the Federation,” said the SKNFA.

The St Kitts Nevis Football Association also extended condolences to the family of the former coach and player.
