The resident told MyVueNews.com that the burglars made off with a substantial amount of items. He said, “I locked up and went to bed around 2 am. When I got up around 5 am, there was a quantity of cash, jewelry and cell phones stolen from the house – clothing, sneakers. They also stole the Toyota Hilux and two motorcycles.”
Among the items stolen were an Electric Scooter (a one-of –a-kind in St. Kitts) and a CDR 600 motorcycle. A reward will be provided to the person who provides information leading to the successful recovery of the stolen items.
Police opened an investigation into the burglary, and were able to recover the stolen Hi-Lux, so far. Police advises anyone with information to contact the nearest Police Station, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477.
“It has been a big loss for us as a family,” said the resident, as he expressed interest in getting back the stolen items.
