I am aware of the circumstances but I will not disclose as it may hamper the investigations.”
MiyVue.com understands that during the altercation, Cannonier was stabbed in the left side of his chest and as a result, has to be rushed to the Joseph N. France General Hospital. DCP Liburd has informed that he is warded there “under police guard”.
Cannonier was – only days ago – as explained by Liburd, remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison on a charge of “assault with a firearm”.

MiyVue.com made attempts to contact senior personnel at HMP concerning the situation but they remain tight-lipped.
