The Exchange Program saw the Taiwan Youth Ambassador Corps from Southern Taiwan University engaged in informative sessions over a period of two weeks to be more familiarized with the culture of St Kitts and Nevis.
The Program ended with the Taiwan attendees making a courtesy departure visit to Prime Minister Denzil Douglas, sharing what they have done and learnt throughout the sessions.
The Students were accompanied by Ambassador Miguel Tsao.
Upon departure the Corps sang the Federation’s National Anthem, while dressed in local attire
Prime Minister Douglas applauded their visit as mission accomplished, and encouraged the attendees to introduce St. Kitts and Nevis culture to their countrymen.
Ambassador Tsao urged the members to continue the good work of serving as a cultural bridge between the two peoples and wished the group a safe trip back to Taiwan.
