The ambassador told participants during the opening ceremony of a recent trade fair, that both Taiwan and St. Kitts and Nevis are countries that depend heavily on international trade. He said that it makes a great deal of sense that Taiwanese businessmen join forces with St. Kitts and Nevis’ counterparts to bring the benefits of the free flow of goods and services to both peoples.
Mr. Tsao said that a “Win-win achievement will be in our grasp.” He noted that since the establishment of a diplomatic relationship between the Republic of China (Taiwan) and St. Kitts and Nevis 28 years ago, “our bilateral cooperation has been realized many rewarding results in areas such as Agriculture, Information Communications Technology and Infrastructure. Additionally, the friendship between our two peoples has grown closer over the years.”
“Building on this solid foundation, we can and must do more,” said Ambassador Tsao, who added that one ideal and desirable area of cooperation to be found is in Trade.
Ambassador Miguel Tsao is of the view that lucrative business opportunities can be created following, what he describes as a successful trade show by Taiwanese businessmen located in Florida.
The trade show was held at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel, (formally the Jack Tar Village).
