Taxi man died from natural causes says medical report

Following a Post Mortem Examination, conducted on Monday 17 February 2014, on the body of the late Cecil Sylvester Charles-Thomas, alias ‘CAP’, of Pitcairn Street, Newtown, it was concluded that he died as a result of natural causes.

The examination was carried out by the Resident Pathologist at the main hospital in St. Kitts, the Joseph N France General Hospital.

Police said the body of “CAP”, who was a Taxi Operator, was discovered at his home about 2:10 p.m. on Friday February 14, 2014.

While members of the taxi community expressed their regrets over his passing there were also unsubstantiated murmurs in various quarters that suggested other causes of Thomas’s death.
