These scholarships were opened to Citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis who are residing in the federation and intend to return after completion of their course of study.
From the list of applicants, four will be recipients of the The 2011 Michael L. King Scholarship Grant.
The presentation ceremony takes place on Wednesday, 27th July 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the TDC Training Room on Fort Street. Basseterre.
Each of the selected Scholars were required to submit; letters of acceptance from the university, enrolment for full-time study, institution and course of study, level- if already enrolled and stage of study, proof of citizenship, two recommendations and a short essay indicating; information about candidate, why he/she chose this particular course of study, how the grant will benefit him/her and how his/her choice(s) will benefit the country.
The scholarship will assist in the undergraduate and the Post graduate levels in course such as: Agriculture, Architecture, Business Management, Construction Management, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology and Pharmacology.
The 2011 Michael L. King Scholarship Grant has a value of USD$5,000.00 for a term of one calendar year.
