Mr. D. Michael Morton, Group Chairman presided over the gathering and was ably assisted by Mr. Ernie France who presented the Directors Report which provided a detailed overview of the Company’s performance for the 20010/11 fiscal year, with an outlook for 2011/12. The Group reported a net profit before taxation of EC$11,742,156 compared to EC$11,132,852 from the previous year.
In addition to the hearing directly from the leadership, the investors received the Auditors Report, and voted to declare a final dividend of $0.03 cents per share bringing the total dividend for the year to $0.06 per share. Consequently, the total payout based on the 2010 performance was EC$3,120,000.00.
Thereafter, Mr. Glenville Jeffers (former General Manager of the TDC Home and Building Depot in St. Kitts) was overwhelmingly confirmed and appointed an Executive Director of the Group.
Immediately following the close of the business session, employees were acknowledged for ten, twenty, twenty-five, thirty, and thirty-five years of dedicated service with commemorative pins and Corporate tokens.
One of the highlights of the evening was the recognition of the TDC Employees of the Year, who each took home a cash prize and the coveted TDC Jacques A. Crammer Award, in the following categories:

Runner Up Karen James CDS (Nevis) Limited
Outstanding Service Ababa Herbert TDC/Thrifty Car Rentals (St. Kitts)
Runner Up Calif Baker TDC Airline Services (Nevis) Limited

Runner Up Orelius Julien Inventory Department (Nevis)
The other highlight was the interactive pre-launch of the TDC Mega Rewards Card. The pioneering initiative is a loyalty card programme, where customers will be rewarded for their continued patronage at any TDC Retail Outlet in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Shareholders were not left empty handed, as a many of them also had the opportunity to win a variety of Corporate gifts from Regional principals, who generously donated towards the Annual event.
The curtains came down on the evening’s proceedings in what can be described as another successful year of Commerce with significant contributions to the process of Nation building in the areas of Trade, Tourism, Manufacturing, Real Estate, and Tourism.

About Mr. Glenville Jeffers
Mr. Jeffers joined the Company in September 1985, as an Accounts Clerk. With the support of the Company, he took study leave to pursue a Bachelors Degree at PACE University and returned in 1992, where he quickly moved up the ranks to the post of Accounting Supervisor and later Assistant Accountant.
In 1993, he was appointed as Chief Accountant, a post which he held until he took over the management of the Business Equipment Division in 1998. In 2005, he was assigned the General Manager of the TDC Home and Building Depot on St. Kitts.
Additionally, Jeffers also served the Company in several capacities. These include but are not limited to:

- Director, TDC Real Estate and Construction Company, Conaree Estates, TDC (Nevis) Ltd.
- Member, SNIC Audit Committee
- Member, TDC Jacques Cramer Employee of Year Committee
With his over twenty-five (25) years of experience and knowledge, Jeffers brings a well rounded balance to the Board.
