The men are: Oliver Jeffers of Craddock Road, Trevis Brazier of Government Road and Ibal Tyson of Low Street.
MiyVue.com was reliably informed that the men were officially charged with the offence on Thursday, 9th June, 2011 for the offence which was committed on 27th May, 2011.
The circumstances which led to the arrest suggest that on that evening, individuals – said to be those who buy “gold for cash” were at a bar located at Crosses Alley, Charlestown when three masked individuals – bearing guns – approached and demanded money.
As a result, a sum of money and jewellery were stolen from the individuals and the armed bandits fled the scene. The incident was reported to the authorities and an investigation was launched. Resultant of the inquiries, Jeffers, Brazier and Tyson were taken into custody and processed.
