Three shot in Buckley’s incident

Assistant Commissioner of Police Ian Queeley said three people were shot all with non-life-threatening wounds. He said one person was shot in the hand and foot, another in the foot and another was shot in the hip. At the moment, he said there is no suspect.

The incident is said to have taken place at Buckley’s Estate on Sunday, 11th October.

Details remain sketchy at this point, as police carry out investigations into the incident.

Information later received from police states, “Injured are Mr. Devon Jeffers aka “Cocksman” 37 years of Trafalgar Village, Mr. Rodney Clarke aka “Star Boy” 30 years of Greenlands and Mr. Valentine Benjamin aka “Zebra” 46 years, of Buckley’s Estate. All were reportedly shot by an unknown assailant.”

The police information indicates that the three men were “engaged in a card game” when the unknown assailant appeared and opened fire.

Clarke received gunshot injuries to the right side of his hip, Jeffers received gunshot injuries to his left hand and his right foot, while Benjamin received gun shot injuries to his lower right leg.
