Today: Overcast with numerous showers. A few thunderstorms could develop in occasional heavy showers.

Tonight: Cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. A Flash Flood Watch in effect until 2pm this afternoon for low lying and flood prone areas.

Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A weak upper level trough along with a tropical wave ahead of an intense low pressure area will generate mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over Hispaniola, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Meanwhile the rest of the Eastern Caribbean will be partly cloudy to cloudy at first becoming increasingly cloudy to overcast with some showers, isolated thunderstorms and occasional gusty winds.

Winds: ESE at 14 – 22kts with gusts reaching near gale or 33kts at times.

Seas: Rough waves/swells 2.1 – 2.8m or 7 – 9ft. Small craft operators should stay in port and sea bathers should avoid the beaches.
