While confirming that they had a breakthrough in the case the Police said they were thankful for the support of the community thus far, but wish to advise that they are currently listing publicly, one Kirk Hobson of Fort Thomas Road, alias Scotty, as a PERSON OF INTEREST.
They explain that Kirk Hobson is considered by all Law enforcement Officials to be ARMED AND DANGEROUS. They are therefore suggesting strongly to the general Public that anyone having any information regarding his whereabouts should contact The Police Headquarters at 465-2241 or The Police Station of easiest means to them.
On Friday 1st June, 2012 at about 9:00pm, two gunmen armed with firearms attacked persons who were at Damian Weekes shop at Haynes Smith village.
As a result three persons received gun -shot wounds namely, Damian Weekes, Dion Holloman and Vernal Chumney. All three persons were admitted to the JNF General Hospital and are receiving medical treatment. Medical reports suggest that all three persons wounded are currently in stable condition at the Surgical Ward.
Police have also said that this kind of reckless disregard for the peace within the Federation will not be condoned and as a result all Law Enforcement Agencies have been officially notified of the need to apprehend this person of interest. As such if he does not present himself to the POLICE by 6:00pm on today the 2nd of June 2012 an extensive Man Hunt will be launched.
Police are advising the general public that it is a criminal offence to aid, abet, relieve, comfort or in any other way assist KirK Hobson in evading efforts of Law enforcement to bring him to Justice.
