The announcement was made by Chairman of the Judicial and Legal Services Commission, Sir Hugh Rawlins, Chief Justice, who has appointed Mr. Thomas W. R. Astaphan, a Kittitian, to act as High Court Judge of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court for the period 15^thJuly to 10^th September 2012.

The Commission has also appointed Master Pearletta Lanns, a Nevisian, to act as High Court Judge of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court for the period 10^th September to 31^stDecember 2012.

His Lordship, the Hon. Mr. Justice Thomas Astaphan and Master Pearletta Lanns, have been assigned to Antigua and Barbuda.

It has also been disclosed that High Court Judges, Her Ladyship, the Hon. Justice Louise Blenman and His Lordship, the Hon. Justice Mario Michel, have been appointed as Justices of the Appeal with effect from 10^thSeptember 2012.

At the same time, Attorney at Law, Mr. Gerhard H. A. Wallbank has been appointed High Court Judge for the period 9^thJuly to 27^th July 2012 and 6^th August to 31^stAugust 2012 assigned to the Virgin Islands.

Her Ladyship the Hon. Justice Vicki Ann Ellis has been assigned as High Court Judge with effect from September 10^th 2012.

Master Vivian Georgis Taylor-Alexander has been appointed to act as High Court Judge for the period 20^th July to 30^th September 2012 assigned to Grenada.

Mrs. Cynthia Combie-Martyr has been appointed to act as High Court Judge from 22^ndJuly to 10^th September 2012, assigned to Anguilla.

Master Cheryl Mathurin has been appointed to act as High Court Judge for the period 10^thSeptember to 31^st December 2012.
