This year’s review will be held under the theme, “Achieving Agricultural Impact Through Effective Consultation and Action.” This year’s programme will provide opportunities for farmers to ask questions and receive feedback from the presenters.
Slated to begin at 8:30 a.m. presentations will be made on the legal framework affecting agriculture. Other topics up for discussion are Water for Agriculture, Financing for Agriculture, Control of Roaming Animals and Control of Feral Animals (monkeys) and Land Preparation.
Additionally, the opening session will receive a report by the Director of Agriculture and the feature address will be delivered by Dr. Timothy Harris, Senior Minister and Minister of Agriculture. Crops and Livestock Leaders, Mr Thomas Jackson and for Dr. Tracey Challenger, are expected to provide overviews on their programmes.
According to officials familiar with the program this year greater focus will be placed on farmers’ feedback, preferences and advice.
