US Airways Adds Another Flight To St. Kitts

Elroy Lewis, General Manager of TDC’s Airlines, confirmed has that the Sunday US Airways flight to St. Kitts has been introduced for this month of March with the possibility of its continuation.

“The second flight on Sundays has been introduced due to increased passenger bookings to St. Kitts in the month of March,” Mr. Lewis said.

He added that if the load factor continues or increases, the US Airways flight on Sundays could continue.

Lewis said US Airways uses the A320 – a 146-seater on Saturdays and the A319 – a 124-seater on Sundays. US Airways is one of three American carriers – Delta Air, American Airlines and US Airways that operate schedule passenger service into St. Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw Airport.

408 passengers were brought in from the US mainland, to the Federation in December of Last year. This addition service brings to fourteen (14) the number of weekly flights, into St. Kitts from the United States.

American Airlines operates eleven (11) from New York’s JFK and Miami International airport and Delta operates a weekly service from Atlanta.

Other international carriers that operate scheduled service to St. Kitts are Air Canada out of Toronto and British Airways from Gatwick-London.
