On Saturday, 4th July, ECCB Hardcash won the toss and decided to bat first, in their match against St. Pauls, over at the St. Pauls Sporting Complex.
In their turn at the crease, ECCB made 101 All Out off 30 Overs, with Shane Venner 26, Wingrove George 25, John Venner 18 not out. In the bowling department for St. Pauls, Challenger had 2 wickets for 21 runs.
St.Pauls in Reply made 99 All Out 0ff 28 Overs. Leroy Leader 35, John Venner 2 for 14, Leachim Phipps 2 for 17 and Theo Clarke 2 for 24.
ECCB Hardcash therefore winning by 2 Runs.
Umpires in that game were Abraham Richardson & Carlton Browne.
Then on Sunday, 5th June, down in Newton Ground, Veterans picked up a victory over ECCB Hardcash.
Veterans won the toss and batted first, making 191 for 5 Off 30 Overs. Don Farrel 55, Jeremiah Louis 52, Dwight Straun 25, Akeem Fox had bowling figures of 1 for 26, Leachim
Phipps 1 for 31, Bren Williams 1 for 42 and Shane Venner 1 for 47.
ECCB Hardcash in reply, could only muster 63 All Out off 18 Overs.
Earl Smithen 15 not out, Cleveland St. Valle 3 for 13, Ian James 3 for 17. Jerry
Louis 2 for 17 and Jeremiah Lous 1 for 11.
Veterans therefore easily picking up a victory, winning by 128 runs, against ECCB.
